Don't look ahead there's stormy weather
I spent this past Sunday afternoon (Father's Day) at my Grandparents house. My Grandparent's have lived in this house since my Mum was two years old, that's approaching almost fifty-seven years now! The area they live in has a woods nearby and a small lake. When I was younger all of my family would take long walks through the woods. A large proportion of our family photos involve us walking somewhere around these woods.
On this Sunday afternoon a few people were out on the lake attempting to wind surf. It wasn't quite breezy enough but they were giving it a good shot. It's a really great place to hire a canoe or kayak though. I've done it before and it was a lot of fun trying to swap boats in the middle of the lake, then wearing your Grandma's clothes back home because you got completely soaked in your own.
I also took a few photos of my Grandparent's garden. As with every year it was looking immaculate. I used the cross-process function on Picasa to edit these photos so hopefully it changes them up a little from my usual flower shots!
