I'm going to go and get a hair cut this Friday as it's my second to last week at home and also I have a few friends from University coming to stay at the weekend so we're going out with my friends from home and thought it'd be nice to have my hair looking good for the night out.
Anyway my friend who isn't a hairdresser but is very nifty with the scissors cut me a full fringe just over a month a go. She's so good, I'd absolutely let her do it again. But basically it's growing out right now. I quite like it as I can part it or where it as a side fringe now so when I go for a cut I'm going to ask them to just take a little off of it so it still looks like a fringe. I tried out a hair style that Jules Sarinana does with her fringe and I think it looks really nice, check it out here. Basically it looks like she uses bobby pins to clip back her fringe on either side of her face and then pulls forward the hair from behind the pins to cover them and frame her face. I wish my hair was as long as hers though, it's so lovely. I read her blog daily, it's fantastic if you haven't already seen it.
Anyway here is my attempt:
Anyway, I've spent most of today listening to music, watching the Olympics and lounging around in my "I heart San Francisco" T-shirt and University of Birmingham jogging bottoms. The perfect Sunday afternoon!
I was also trying on my sunglasses collection because I'm sad! The weather has been a bit rubbish today, it's still quite warm but it's been raining on and off. So I'm currently dreaming of continual sunshine and being able to wear my sunglasses on a daily basis. Although I've looked at the weather in MS recently and they've been having thunderstorms unfortunately.
I don't own any fancy designer sunglasses, I mainly buy them when they're in sales, so from top to bottom:
Top pair-Accessorize, bought in sale when I worked for Monsoon last summer
Second Down- Aviators- Not sure where these are from but they were very cheap
Third Middle- Asos Wayfairers- Bought online in Februrary, I was getting excited for the summer
Second from Bottom- Mum's 80s Sunglasses- Stolen from my mother!
Bottom- Urban Outfitters Wayfairers- Bought in New Orleans in September 2010 while I was there for a weekend
