I've completely fallen in love with the 90s look which has been making a come back this spring/summer. I'll admit I'm a little behind with this trend but here's my attempt at a 90s throwback. I'll also admit that I didn't ever wear any of this during the 90s. I was an actual 1990 baby, born at the very beginning of the decade so I was still wearing whatever my parents dressed me until around 1998/99. This tended to be something overtly patterned or matching outfits with my sister and other female cousins! I'll try and find a picture of my actual 90s outfits for you in my next post.
Anyway, I bought these black faux suede creepers off Boohoo for £19.99 (and they do student discount, woo hoo!). I absolutely love these shoes. I had a discussion with a good friend of mine about buying a pair and I thought I'd take the plunge. I'm not sure if they're exactly a summer shoe. I don't know if they'll be weather appropriate for the first few weeks in Oxford as it'll be very warm. Although, I do think they'd look quite good with a pair of Levi cut offs. I also bought this little blue faux leather backpack from the Marble Arch Primark store last time I was up in London. I'd really like a real leather tan backpack but I don't really have the money for any big purchases at the moment so the Primark version at £8 seemed the best investment.
