House Full of Empty Rooms

Yesterday I handed in the keys to my flat in Birmingham. I'm sad that I had to let them go as it signified the end of my undergraduate university experience.

It's easy to look back on situations and try to forget those memories which are not so fond. I will admit that my time at university has had it's ups and downs. The trials and tribulations that come with moving three hours from home to a new city where you know no-one, house sharing with six girls (eek!), housing dilemmas, splitting bills, feeling heart broken, the general chaos of learning to live by yourself and with friends.

However, far far more great memories out weigh these sometimes stressful moments. The hours of endless laughter, dancing all night long, cooking dinners together, cups of tea in the afternoon (cups of tea whenever!), sitting in Subway for hours gossiping about the night before, episodes of Sex and the City every night, far too many film nights, falling in love, studying abroad (ACS!) and making friends with some fantastic people.

So here's to the University of Birmingham, and to all those that I met along the way, some I still speak to all the time, others on the odd occasion and unfortunately those I rarely get a chance to, thank you for making the past four years truly unforgettable.

Here's a selection of photos from September 2008 to June 2012, cheers!
