So I've just checked the temperature reader on the side bar of my laptop and it's pretty cold here in Birmingham tonight, just a mere 5 degrees C! Eek!
However it was a lovely Friday overall. There was a slight autumn chill, with the remainder of mid-October sunshine. I love this kind of weather as it allows for warm clothes and sunglasses; the perfect opportunity to do a bit of posing. While I tried to look cool on my walk to Tesco, yes I know, cool and Tesco are an oxymoron, my ankle gave way, so not cool!
Anyway here is my pick of a mid autumn/early winter casual look. I actually bought this wrap cardigan from Asos. It's amazing, really good quality; nice and warm as well. I'd definitely say it's a great alternative to a jacket before it gets too cold. Inevitability, this winter will not allow for just cardigans so make the most of it kids! Also absolutely mad about these shoe boots. I read this blog called Kenzie Faith and she had a pair just like this and I think they look fantastic. Hers are from TJ Maxx but I think New Look are doing a great version and they're very affordable. I'm going to have to go to a store to check out the quality and give them a try on for comfort and height. Oh and finally, I love the wash of these jeans but alas, I will never buy a pair of jeans for £150. I just think that's mad but hey, these are pretty nice to look at. And to finish it off, love this tortoise shell statement necklace. Krystal at This Time Tomorrow wears a lot of tortoise shell. I think her looks are always so spotless and classic. I'd really like to purchase a necklace like this that would go with everything.
