This is my summer thus far. My first few weeks were spent at home in Devon with our new dog, Lulu Walker. She's been part of the family since Christmas but this is the first time I've seen her in five months, she's so cute. I watched Marley and Me last night and it reminded me how much I love dogs, especially Labs. I really miss our old dog Ben, he was pretty naughty but such a cutie as well.
Then there was a very chilled weekend in London to see my Sister and a brief visit with a friend from Ole Miss who is touring Europe for the summer. London was super hot that weekend so we spent most of the Saturday strolling around and then in a bar in Camden. Sunday,we had a brief afternoon in the nearby park, then my sister's house mate cooked us a lovely Sunday Roast. Saturday afternoon we went up to Primrose Hill, I've never been before, great views of the city.
Finally about two weeks a go I went to see Take That at Aston Villa's football ground, Villa Park, with my Mum, Sister, Aunty and Cousin. We had a fantastic evening in Birmingham. We went for dinner and then to the concert and had breakfast in the morning. The show was brilliant, they did around two and a half hours of all the classic hits. And I finally got to see Robbie Williams sing Angels, definitely one of those proud to be British moments....anyway these are a few of the pics.
